ESE stands for easy serving espresso. It is an open system, ie you can use Cellini coffee pods in all ESE machines and in the portafilter. Each coffee pod consists of a portion of coffee wrapped in two layers of filter paper.
The so-called tamping of the coffee (pressing the ground coffee in the portafilter) has already been done during production, so you only have to insert the portion. In our range you will find two aromatic espressos, the Gran Crema and the Gran Aroma from the Barista selection, as well as a decaffeinated version for carefree enjoyment around the clock.
Prepared with correspondingly more water. you can also enjoy a coffee lungo.
Incidentally, the ESE coffee pods were developed in Italy and are sold there under the name Cialde . The development goes back to Antonio di Leva.
