Would you like to prepare your coffee at home like the Italians do? Then discover the best Italian coffee for your espresso maker in the Cellini Caffè Shop.
Which mixture you prefer is of course dependent on your own personal taste. The coarse-grained, perfectly balanced grind is the same for all Cellini compositions, so that you can prepare a fantastic espresso in a traditional moka or caffèttiera.
The gentle processing in the “slow roasting” process guarantees carefree and wholesome enjoyment, because the beans are roasted evenly before grinding. Still not sure which mix is right for you? With our sample package of ground espresso, you can bring our classics directly to your home and at a fair price.
For the small coffee ceremony at home you will find not only delicious espresso blends but also a selection of espresso makers. Choose between different models: for example between aluminum or stainless steel models. We also offer a wide range of variants in terms of size. Starting with the model for the 1 or 2 person household up to the espresso maker for the whole family. We also have espresso makers in our range for different stove types. Choose the model that best suits your needs.
Incidentally, the espresso pot was invented by the Italian Alfonso Bialetti in 1933 and has since been sold more than 300 million times. The Italian design icon even made it into the Muesum of Modern Art in New York. Enjoy your home-made coffee original like in Italy!
Preparing a delicious coffee in the espresso maker is not difficult. With our brief instructions, it tastes just like in Italy.
First, fill your espresso maker with water up to the valve. Put your favorite Cellini mixture in the filter without pressing the powder. The filter should be completely filled with coffee powder. Of course, you can also use whole beans that you freshly grind yourself. In this way, your coffee tastes particularly aromatic and intense.
Place the moka pot on the stove and ideally choose a low to medium heat. Avoid temperatures that are too high, as these can cause the coffee to burn and taste bitter.
As soon as you hear hissing, please remove the espresso maker directly from the stove, otherwise the coffee will burn. The remaining heat ensures that the coffee continues to brew. Now you can enjoy your Cellini Caffè.
You need about 7 to 8 grams of Cellini espresso powder per cup. If you prefer to do the grinding yourself, we recommend a slightly coarser grind compared to using the portafilter. However, this is only a guideline, because the only thing that matters is personal taste. By the way, preheated cups improve the enjoyment of coffee!
Some coffee connoisseurs miss the typical crema with this type of preparation, which is known, for example, from a visit to their favorite Italian. This small shortcoming has already been recognized by the leading espresso makers and so espresso makers are also available here in the Cellini online shop, whose patented technology enables a thick crema. One of these models is the Brikka by Bialetti.
How do you actually clean an espresso maker? Please only with water! Disassemble and clean all parts and rinse with warm water. Only screw together when all the individual parts of your espresso maker have dried. Only screw the jug together loosely, then the rubber seal will not age so quickly. Replace the gasket when it becomes porous.
