Patrizia Marmellata Arancia Zenzero is a jam made from sun-kissed Sicilian oranges combined with the subtle spiciness of ginger. Tastes wonderfully fruity and not bitter.

Recipe idea: Almond croissants with orange ginger jam
approx. 15 pieces
200 g dried apricots, approx. 1 ¾ glass Patrizia orange ginger jam, 400 g raw marzipan mixture, 250 g powdered sugar, 2 egg whites, 3 tablespoons flour, 200 g flaked almonds, 250 g dark couverture (at least 60% cocoa content).
The dried apricots are first roughly chopped and mixed in a bowl with the orange ginger jam. Grate the marzipan or pluck it into small pieces. Mix it together with the sugar and the egg whites with the beater of a hand mixer until smooth. Now add the flour and work everything into a homogeneous dough. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Form small croissants from the mixture and carefully roll them in the flaked almonds, pressing down lightly. Then place the almond croissants next to each other on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Put the almond croissants on the middle rack of the oven and bake for about 15 minutes until they are very lightly browned. Leave to cool completely. In the meantime, melt the couverture in a water bath and dip the ends of the croissants, drain slightly and leave to set on a piece of baking paper.
